Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

We pray that you experienced a joyous Christmas-time and your New Year's Day will be special too! As we exalt the baby that was born to be our Savior, may the Lord enrich your life with blessings no matter what the circumstances are.  "This Christmas Time" by Take No Glory (a group of "musicianaries") is one of our family's favorite songs.  Click to go and listen to it here...

Ministry Enrichment Seminars Resources Coming In!

We need resources for 15 pastors & church lay leaders!  Can you help sponsor a resource or resources for Filipino pastors and lay leaders?

Thus far we have received sponsors for the following:
~ 1 Study Bible (14 more to go!)
~ 1 Spiritual Depression book (14 more to go!)
~ 3 Nine Marks of a Healthy Church books (12 more to go!)

If so, then please follow the link by clicking the button below and help sponsor the ME Seminar attendees with these resources for their future in ministry!

Holman Study Bible (to help in their study of God's Word)
Spiritual Depression: Its Causes and its Cure, by Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones (to help them in their personal walk of faith)
~ Nine Marks of a Healthy Church, by Dr. Mark Dever (to help them in their work at shaping the local church ministry).

Presently the deadline for gathering all the resources to get them over to Manila is January 15th, 2018.  This will give us time to ship them before the seminar training.

Study Bibles and ministry books are hard for people to afford in the Philippines. Yet, they want to serve well and with excellence.  They want to improve their ability to serve and their understanding of God's will for a local church.  The training of God's people for service is necessary and training materials are often used by God for enhancing their ability to serve well.

Please click the button to our Emmanuel Baptist Pastor's Resource List. Fill your cart with one or more of the books that our leaders have identified as key in helping prepare our ministry leaders.

Any purchase is set up to be automatically sent to our point persons, Jonathan & Jennifer Stout of Faith Bible Church in Murrieta. They will hold it for us and we will eventually arrange to get these resources to Manila.

Thank you so much for your consideration in purchasing a resource(s) for these faithful servants at Emmanuel Baptist Church!

Partnering for a Generational Legacy

The seminarians Robert equips at BBSI are training for their calling to serve with excellence. The missionary kids Kim works with at Faith Academy need an education and to be challenged with the truth of the gospel, even while their parents serve in ministries all over the Philippines.

Out of 2 Timothy 2:2 we find a premier related to the passing of the baton of ministry to the next generation... "The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."

When you join us in prayer ministry and regular financial partnership, you are investing in a movement of equipping a new generation for Christ and thereby partnering in a legacy for future ministry in the Philippines and beyond.

We are presently down in support by about 5% of our needs, which is common after arriving to the mission field again even after a long and fruitful furlough.  To invest in this work, simply click the button to go to ABWE's secure online donation page.  There you can arrange automatic monthly support.  All support donations are tax-deductible.

Click on the Equip logo and you will be directed to our website to know more about the vital ministries we are involved with in Manila and beyond.  It's been said that the Philippine Islands are the "gateway to Asia". Well, in regards to the gospel being taken to Asia that could very well be true as many young Filipino men and women are preparing for ministry even as missionaries in other Asian countries.  They need our prayers!  We need to help prepare them.  Click on the button to see my new ministry blog..."THRIVE!".
