Ministry Enrichment Seminar to be Held February 2018

Can you help sponsor a resource(s) for Filipino pastors and lay leaders?

In February 2018 our beloved Emmanuel Baptist Church will hold its first ever "Ministry Enrichment Seminar" for their pastors and lay leaders. We expect approximately 15 in attendance for the seminars with a focus on Discipleship and Practical Ministry.

Study Bibles and ministry books are hard for people to afford in the Philippines. Yet, they want to serve well and with excellence.  They want to improve their ability to serve.  The training of God's people for service is necessary and training materials are often used by God for enhancing their ability to serve well.

We would like to provide each of the attendees a study Bible and 2 ministry resources:
~ Holman Study Bible (to help in their study of God's Word)
~ Spiritual Depression: Its Causes and its Cure, by Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones (to help them in their personal walk of faith)
~ 9 Marks of a Healthy Church, by Dr. Mark Dever (to help them in their work at shaping the local church ministry).

We need your help to do this. Can you purchase a book or books for these faithful servants to help us encourage them in their work and calling, and to help us train them further in ministry?

If so, please click the button to our Emmanuel Baptist Pastor's Resource List. Fill your cart with one or more of the books that our leaders have identified as key in helping prepare our ministry leaders. Any purchase is set up to be automatically sent to our point persons, Jonathan & Jennifer Stout of Faith Bible Church in Murrieta. They will hold it for us and we will eventually arrange to get these resources to Manila.  Some of these resources have already been donated and are on their way to our point persons!

Thank you so much for your consideration in purchasing a resource(s) for these faithful servants at Emmanuel Baptist Church!

Closing in on the O&P Goal!  $862 to Go!

With 24 supporters helping us so far, we are now within reach of the $15,000 goal for our O&P fund.  Due to recent end of the year donations, we now have $14,188 of the goal, leaving just $862 to go!  Would you prayerfully consider helping us meet this goal with your end of the year, tax-deductible donation?  Follow the link by clicking the button and indicate your gift is for "Clark's O&P fund account - one time donation". Thank you for prayers and financial contribution!

Partnering for a Generational Legacy

Out of 2 Timothy 2:2 we find a premier related to the passing of the baton of ministry to the next generation...
"The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."

When you join us in prayer ministry and regular financial partnership, you are investing in a movement of equipping a new generation for Christ and thereby partnering in a legacy for future ministry in the Philippines and beyond.

The seminarians Robert equips at BBSI are training for their calling to serve with excellence. The missionary kids Kim works with at Faith Academy need an education and to be challenged with the truth of the gospel, even while their parents serve in ministries all over the Philippines.

We are presently down in support by about 5% of our needs, which is common after arriving to the mission field again even after a long and fruitful furlough.  To invest in this work, simply click the button to go to ABWE's secure online donation page.  There you can arrange automatic monthly support.  All support donations are tax-deductible.

Well, in regards to the gospel being taken to Asia that could very well be true as many young Filipino men and women are preparing for ministry even as missionaries in other Asian countries.  They need our prayers!  We need to help prepare them.  Click on the button to see my new ministry blog..."THRIVE!".
