Preachers' Coalition in Full Swing It was a pleasure to spend time in our Preachers‘ Coalition last Monday night. We discussed diagramming methods of a passage using the English and the Greek as well. We then exchanged views and personal approaches to the elements of sermon prep using Dr. Bryan Chapell‘s 14 step method as our basis for dialogue. We were joined this time by Pastor Rey Cruz as well.
We will come together on Tuesday 2/27 with our ABWE Asia-Pacific Director Steve Mayo, who is in town for mission business meetings. The EBC preachers are very keen about getting Steve's input and personal strategies for his sermon exegesis and prep. Their enthusiasm is very contagious and it's obvious they value Steve's experience to help enhance their own abilities in this ministry. Please continue to
pray for these men. Thanks for praying!
P.S. - Please pray for Pastor Vincent's son Cedie, who is recovering from a hospital stay due to a viral infection. Pastor Vincent and his wife Cristia report that he's getting better but still quite weak.

ABWE Asia-Pacific Director Preaches at EBC We enjoyed very much the ministry of our ABWE Asia Pacific Director Steve Mayo at EBC today as he preached through Mark 1:16-20 on disciples making disciples and becoming fishers of men. Pray the Lord will use the message preached today.
We went to lunch after services with Steve and our newest colleagues from Baguio City, Jonathan and Evanie Bryant, who serve at Doane Rest & Training Center. All ABWE missionaries will gather in downtown Manila for our government-required annual meeting on Monday and Kim will join us for dinner after teaching at FA.
Pray too as the Emmanuel Baptist preachers come together with Steve on Tuesday evening for dinner and a Preachers‘ Coalition meeting. They have asked Steve to be interacting with them as an additional mentor while
he's here and even when he's back home in Sydney, Australia. Steve and I hope to partner together in 2018 and offer Approved Workman Training seminars in Iloilo City and in Manila as the Lord opens up opportunities. Thanks for praying!

Please Pray for Family
We would very much appreciate your prayers for Kim‘s parents Larry & Carol Mustain who live in Gold River, CA. Both are struggling with the flu to the point that Kim's mother had to be hospitalized for further observation. She is now home and trying to recover. Pray too for her sister Kathy DeVries who lives nearby and works hard to help them as much as she is able. Kim and Kathy are in contact about what their parents situation is and their present needs. Thanks too for praying (and please continue to pray) for my mom, Patricia Clark, who is doing much better these days, and even driving some, following a rough recovery from heart surgery last year in July. Thanks for praying!

New Training Resources Donated!
Our Emmanuel Baptist Ministry Enrichment Seminar has to be postponed and rescheduled. BUT, this gives us opportunity to finish raising the resources for the attendees and perhaps get them sent here in time. Those which have already been donated are being collected so that all can be sent together when we reach the goal. We now have the following tally for the 3 seminar resources:
~ NKJV Holman Study Bibles (Large Print/Imitation Leather) - 10 donated! ~ Spiritual Depression by Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones - 9 donated! ~ Nine Marks of a Healthy Church, by Dr. Mark Dever - 20 donated!!! Thank you so much to those who have donated! (Extra books will definitely be used!)
If you can help us by sponsoring a book or books for the training of those who serve in this church and its church plants & outreaches, then please click the button below. If you want to just purchase them from Amazon without using the Amazon list, then you can have the book or books shipped to: Jonathan Stout, 38065 Murrieta Creek Dr., Murrieta CA 92562.
(PS - this works best from a laptop/desktop browser or iPad...it's having troubles from an iPhone). Thank you for your help in training God's people in the Philippines!

Partnering for a Generational Legacy!
The seminarians Robert equips at BBSI are training for their calling to serve with excellence. The missionary kids Kim works with at Faith Academy need an education and to be challenged with the truth of the gospel, even while their parents serve in ministries all over the Philippines.
Out of 2 Timothy 2:2 we find a premier related to the passing of the baton of ministry to the next generation... "The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."
When you join us in prayer ministry and regular financial partnership, you are investing in a movement of equipping a new generation for Christ and thereby partnering in a legacy for future ministry in the Philippines and beyond.
We are presently down in support by about 5% of our pledged
monthly needs, which is common after arriving to the mission field again even after a long and fruitful furlough. To invest in this work, simply click the button to go to ABWE's secure online donation page. There you can arrange automatic monthly support. All support donations are tax-deductible.

| Visit our Website to Learn More! Click on the Equip logo and you will be directed to our website to know more about the vital ministries we are involved with in Manila and beyond. It's been said that the Philippine Islands are the "gateway to Asia". Well, in regards to the gospel being taken to Asia that could very well be true as many young Filipino men and women are preparing for ministry even as missionaries in other Asian countries. They need our prayers! We need to help prepare them. Click on the button to see my new ministry blog..."THRIVE!".
